Void Calendar · Live app, try it. Changes are not saved

0.1.0-beta.7

What shipped

11
  • Task canvases organize tasks, notes and AI conversations with links, groups, marquee selection and hierarchy navigation. Default titles follow the interface language, with softer selection outlines.
  • AI message queues survive refreshes and restarts within each account. Restored messages require manual continuation; live steering is available only for supported services.
  • Improved task-linked conversations, run recovery and dedicated morning-brief conversations, with stronger isolation during account and workspace changes.
  • Added clipboard history, screenshot and recording entry points, with improved floating desktop tools and Screen Cat. Relevant system permissions are required.
  • Built-in plugins use v2, with consistent icon animations and platform labels. The official Countdown pilot adds signed downloads, candidate startup, independent updates and failure fallback.
  • Expand Other in sync status to inspect individual notes, tasks, chats and type labels. Fixed timestamp-only chat conflicts and misleading note sync states.
  • Added note workspaces and two-way Obsidian sync, with workspace references in AI. Improved image, video and Markdown editing.
  • Web adapters now support Google, Outlook, iCloud, CalDAV and task-service connections. OAuth token exchange and restricted relay use the backend; availability depends on provider configuration.
  • Improved email-code sign-in and sign-up, password confirmation, email errors, and local MCP setup and connection diagnostics.
  • Island displays the actual host application and corrects stale session states without live-process evidence. Added CodeBuddy, WorkBuddy, pi and Kimi CLI status integrations.
  • Improved settings keyboard navigation, edge scrolling, scroll-position memory, glass sidebars and dividers, while preserving analytics controls and privacy filtering.

0.1.0-beta.5

What shipped

10
  • AI replies can include charts, key figures, schedule overviews and comparison tables. Tap candidate times to answer; changes still go through a proposal you confirm.
  • A live timeline shows reasoning steps and tool calls, then collapses when finished. AI cursors draw new events on the calendar.
  • Choose an AI scheduling strategy and thinking effort, with simpler permission settings. Interrupted AI replies resume after restarting the app.
  • Custom API models can propose calendar, task and note changes using the same tools and confirmation flow as CLI agents.
  • New macOS Usage Tracking plugin: explore app usage by day, week and month, with categories, timelines, rankings and editable category rules.
  • Usage data stays on this Mac, separately for each account, without syncing or AI access. Window titles and website domains are optional, and recording can be paused.
  • Add locations to tasks and events using Apple Maps search, an interactive map or a dropped pin, and open saved places in Apple Maps.
  • Repeating events sync as real recurring series with Google Calendar, Outlook, iCloud/CalDAV and Apple Calendar. Rules that cannot be edited safely are marked as editable only in the source calendar.
  • Refined event popovers, charts and usage panels, a redesigned task picker, sharper Retina charts, simpler Island settings and pinned sidebar plugins.
  • Fixed chat scrolling, week-view alignment, Codex charts and detection of newly installed AI agents. Database contention now retries, with clear storage errors.

0.1.0-beta.4

What shipped

14
  • Import from Apple Notes: choose an Apple Notes library in Settings to bring your notes into Void.
  • Re-import iCloud Calendar: a new button clears iCloud data kept locally in Void and imports it again, without changing anything in iCloud.
  • Edit or delete repeating iCloud events with a choice of This event or All events, shown automatically when you close the editor.
  • Check for a new version within 5 seconds of opening. The redesigned update prompt lets you choose automatic downloads in the future or stop seeing the prompt.
  • Each iCloud calendar shows its own color. Event accent bars always use the calendar color; a color picked in Void changes only the event background.
  • Deleting events linked to iCloud, Google or Outlook removes them immediately. If deletion fails, the event returns with an explanation.
  • Events written to iCloud use your local time zone, avoiding extra GMT times in Apple Calendar. Older events are corrected the next time you edit them in Void.
  • Reading large iCloud calendars is faster and more reliable.
  • Right-click the Island to open settings or quit Void, with smoother collapsing animation and a refreshed AI model menu.
  • Fixed events created in Void not reaching iCloud. Earlier sync failures retry automatically after the next successful sync.
  • Moving Apple Calendar events to another calendar or renaming them no longer fails with repeating-event errors.
  • Colors picked for iCloud events survive syncing, and selected events no longer show blue lines above and below them.
  • Fixed note editor issues with cross-block text selection, undo and redo, deleting checklist rows, and collapsing indented notes.
  • Removed two outdated getting-started demo notes while keeping edited notes, made the chat header more compact, and updated the Discord community link.

0.1.0-beta.3

What shipped

6
  • Void Island is on by default. Hover over your notch to open your task map, focus timer, journal and pixel cat. A short pixel jingle plays when it turns on; you can turn it off in Settings → Island.
  • Meeting reminders are on by default. On first launch, the app asks for macOS notification permission and reminds you 5 minutes before meetings and when they end. Declining permission switches reminders off; you can turn them on again in Settings.
  • Void Island now supports English: buttons, messages and the cat’s quotes follow the app language.
  • Island settings have longer hover delay, width and volume sliders, with number fields for exact values.
  • Month view uses the same tinted event cards with colored edges as week view, fits more events per day, and no longer cuts off the last row.
  • Fixed the white square app icon on macOS versions before macOS 26, and Chinese text appearing in Void Island when the app was set to English.
